Kane marks his century goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has faded and he is willing to explore a new agreement with Bayern Munich.
The star striker is presently midway through the four-year agreement he agreed to when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the transfer window of 2023.
The 32-year-old forward has accumulated an remarkable 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which was the maiden important trophy of his illustrious career.
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has earlier expressed that he would like to see Kane go back to England, where he requires 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring record of 260.
However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he earlier was, and would certainly consider lengthening his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of extending longer, I could certainly see that," he remarked.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so unfolds and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not thinking about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different periods happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top marksman for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five leagues, securing the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had eluded him until he secured the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would feel after ending his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him hungry for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
